The Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (DMORT) is part of the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) which is under the Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS)>. We are a team from various forensic disciplines working in victim identification in mass disasters. I was deployed in New York City following 9-11, in Gulfport, MS following Hurricane Katrina, and in Buffalo, NY following the crash of Continental 3407. I also consult on a regular basis with our local Medical Examiners office.

This picture shows the ham shack with my original 1970's Heathkit SB-102 and the 'stuff' that goes along with it. It still functions perfectly and is still on the air. My primary rig now is the Flex 5000A. The picture below shows a screen capture of the PowerSDR software in operation. There is a link at the top of the screen for a streaming video of the same screen as well as a web cam. If you can't get them they are probably offline. I can start them at any time so let me know if you would like to see them.
